9 September - We celebrated the important day for our spiritual director, Fr. Ben His, his 75th platinum birthday. Fr. Ben presided the Eucharist for CTI community. In the homily he thanked God for his 75 years to be a human being, and he recalled his time of priesthood and service to the Church in Papua New Guinea. After Mass, we continued the celebration with a dinner that included speeches and performances in the presence of Archbishop of Port Moresby John Ribat MSC, President and Dean of the Catholic Theological Institute Frs. Joseph Vnuk OP and Zenon Szablowinski SVD, Bomana Parish Priest Fr. Emmanuel Lapaz CM, Rector of the Holy Spirit Seminary Fr. Jacek Tendej CM, the Director of Radio Maria, and Rectors, Priests and Sisters from neighboring colleges.

18 September - Representatives of the Missio Aachen and Munich visited the seminary.

20 September - The Apostolic Nuncio in Papua New Guinea & Solomon Island, Abp. Michael Banach, accepted our invitation to visit the Holy Spirit Seminary. He came with his new secretary, presided over the Eucharist in our chapel, blessed the newly completed grotto of Our Lady, and had a meeting with seminarians and staff.

23 September - Bishop Rolando Santos CM installed two seminarians from his diocese (Peter Jamo and Thaddeus B’Gaiva) and from other congregations into the ministry of lector.

27 September - Celebration of the St. Vincent de Paul Day. The Eucharist was presided over by Fr. Emmanuel Lapaz CM – the parish priest of Bomana's Holy Name of Jesus Parish. The celebration was continued during a solemn dinner with official speeches by some of the participants, including Vincentian Bishop Rolando Santos CM from the diocese of Alotau, Ambassador Michael Maue, and invited visitors.
