2 April - The liturgy of Holy Thursday with the rite of washing the feet and procession to the altar of the repose presided by the rector of the Holy Spirt Seminary, Fr. Jacek Tendej CM.>

3 April - The early morning at 6 am the priests and the diocesan and religious seminarians celebrated the Way of the Cross led by the President of the Catholic Theological Institute Fr. Joseph Vnuk OP.

4 April - The Easter Vigil, presided by Fr. Joseph Vnuk OP, started with blessing of the really huge fire at the sport compound of the seminary.

6 April - Easter Monday is the traditional day of playing sports with students of the Papua New Guinea University. This is also time of sharing the meals and friendship.

11 April - Priests and seminarians went to Bereina for the deaconate ordination of our former seminarian Andrew Ono, who graduated last year. The liturgy was presided by his bishop, Rochus Tatamai MSC.

12-13 April - First meeting of the deans of all the seminaries of Papua New Guinea: Fr. Zenon Szablowinski SVD – Catholic Theological Institute in Bomana, Fr. Raphael Mel – Good Shepherd Seminary in Banz, Fr. John Cabrido – Sacred Heart Seminary in Rapolo, Fr. Prabhat Bastiray MSFS – St. Charles Borromeo Major Seminary in Vanimo, Fr. Noah Saw Naw Aye – St. John Vianey Minor Seminary in Vanimo. The meeting venue: Catholic Theological Institute in Bomana, presided by Abp. John Ribat MSC – the chairman of the Episcopal Board and Senate for Priestly Formation. Fr. Zenon gave a talk entitled: “Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela: Pragmatic or Charismatic Reconciler?”.
