October — Traditionally each day in October – the month of Mary – our seminarians and priests, accompanied the parishioners of the Holy Name of Jesus Parish, prayed Rosary in the settlements of the Bomana compound and at different colleges. Seminarians of the second yeur of theology were delivering a reflection on the topics connected with life and message of the Mother of God.

13 October — First recollection day, facilitated by our new spiritual director, Fr. Marceliano. We could appreciate new forms, new ways of celebration, and the new quality of that spiritual encounter.

22 October — Visit of the Apostolic Nuncio in PNG & SI, Abp. Kurian M. Vayalunkal in the Holy Spirit Seminary. The Nuncio met with the seminarians and priests and discussed the importance of holiness and zeal in the lives of the priests and candidates to the priesthood. He also answered questions and dialogued with the seminarians.

31 October — In our seminary church, the bishop of Alotau, Rolando Santos CM, ordained deacon Joseph Tuan Cao CM. Joseph is a Vietnamese Vincentian, who came as seminarian missionary in May. The day before, on 30 October he took his perpetual vows. The ceremony was witnessed by the priests and seminarians from the Holy Spirit Seminary and neighbouring religious colleges.
