October — All the days of October – the month of Mary Our Lady, we pray Rosary in the grotto or in the different colleges and settlements of Bomana compound.

3 October — The inmates from the minimum security prison of Bomana started renovating, washing, and painting the outside walls of St. Paul’s dormitory. Thanks to the collaboration with the commander and officers of the Bomana prison, we can minimize the costs of the maintenance of the buildings of the seminary.

8 October — The last recollection day in this academic year was facilitated by Fr. Victor Roche SVD, the Secretary General of the Catholic Bishops Conference of PNG & SI. Fr. Victor gave a lot of practical advice, encouraging the seminarians to be good, committed and zealous priests in the future. (link to the materials he presented)

9 October — Visit of the new Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Kurian Mathew Vayalunkal to the community of the Holy Spirit Seminary. After the Eucharist the Nuncio had a meeting with the seminarians, presenting himself and giving answers to the questions expressed by the seminarians.

19 October — Institution of the acolytes by Bp. Donald Lippert OFM Cap. from Mendi. From our seminary, Peterson Mutuwai from the diocese of Aitape, Thaddeus B’Gaiva and Peter Jamo from the diocese of Alotau became acolytes.
