15 May — We celebrate the Patronal Feast of the Holy Spirit Seminary. The Eucharist with the homily was presided by the director of Radio Maria PNG, Fr. Paul Kote. In the evening we had a solemn dinner with the participation of the neighbouring colleges. We had encouraging speeches by: the Secretary General of the Catholic Bishops Conference, Fr. Victor Roche SVD; the director of Radio Maria, Fr. Paul Kote; the President of the Catholic Theological Institute, Fr. Joseph Vnuk OP; the ambassador Michael Maue; the rector of the Holy Spirit Seminary, Fr. Jacek Tendej CM; and the representative of the seminarians, Kingsford Taraitsi.

16 May — The seminarians began the second term of studies and formation.

23 May — Meeting with Prof. Dr. Thomas Webster (sociology scientist) who gave a personal testimony on the vocation to priesthood. The theme of the gathering: “The Challenges of Being a Catholic Priest in PNG: a Perspective from a PNG Relative of Local Priests.”

29 May — We celebrate the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi). The Eucharist was preceded by the Eucharistic procession to the four altars. At each altar there was a reading of the Gospel, short homily, prayer and blessing. This celebration was presided over by the rector of the Holy Spirit Seminary, Fr. Jacek Tendej CM, and concelebrated by the professor of Catholic Theological Institute, Fr. Justin Ain from Wabag.
